Liberty Weekly Update

📅  Viking Pride

Great things are happening at Liberty! Students are working hard in their classrooms and showing growth each day. Our staff is doing an amazing job supporting learning, building strong relationships, and keeping the focus on both academics and character. We’ve seen students stepping up as leaders, encouraging one another, and living out our Viking values. It’s exciting to see all the progress being made and the pride our students are taking in their school!

🏫 Pick-Up Drop Off Procedure

Just a few friendly reminders to keep our drop off line moving in the mornings:

  • If you are the first car along the curb, please pull all the way up to the first blue cone. Students should use the entire sidewalk between the cones to exit vehicles.
  • Your child should remain in your vehicle until the bell rings at 9:00 am.
  • Parents should not park and walk through the parking lot. If your child needs help opening the car door, one of the staff members outside will help.
  • If your child has a snack/treat/or extra things to carry, please do not park.  Come through the line and a staff member will help him/her.
  • Please have your child seated on the passenger side of the vehicle so he/she can exit closest to the sidewalk.
  • Remind your child to walk on the sidewalk near the cones and not the parking lot after he/she exits your vehicle.
  • The tardy bell rings at 9:15, your child should be in the building before the bell rings.
  • During pick up time please be courteous of others. Our preschool parents park and do come up to get their child so please be courteous of them in the parking lot.

🚌 Transportation

Some buses have rolled out with seat belts. Please remind your child that they are to wear their seat belt if their bus has one.

👋 5th Grade RV Farm

Our 5th graders from both schools came together for a special day of learning and fun at the RV farm! Students enjoyed hands-on activities, explored agriculture in action, and built connections with one another while experiencing all the farm has to offer. It was a great way to learn, grow, and celebrate our community together!

👍 3rd Grade Field Trip

Our 3rd graders had an exciting field trip where the high school FFA students set up fun, hands-on stations for them to explore! From learning about animals and agriculture to trying out engaging activities, the students had a wonderful time discovering new things. It was a great experience that brought our older and younger Vikings together, showing the power of learning, leadership, and community.
